Bromelton Quarry
Bromelton Quarry, a hard rock quarry located at Bromelton near the township of Beaudesert in Queensland, was established in the year 2000. The site contains over 100 million tonnes of blue rock, making it one of the largest rock deposits in Queensland.
Conveniently situated, the Quarry services major markets throughout Brisbane and the Gold Coast, as well as the rapidly expanding Brisbane-Beaudesert residential and industrial corridor.
A rail link to the Queensland Rail Network was completed in 2003, which improved the Quarry’s distribution capabilities, enabling cost effective supply to more distant markets.
Bromelton Quarry has supplied material for an array of large South East Queensland construction projects. The Quarry’s raw material is a basalt source rock and is of unmatched quality in the immediate region.
